Solitaires Frequently Asked Questions
Why aren't redeals and rule customization available for Solitaire-puzzle?
I purchased ad removing for the Android app, but the program started showing ads again
Some of the cards in the game row are hidden. How can I view them?
What is Solitaire-puzzle mode?
In version 5.0 for Android and 3.0 for iOS, a new layout type called "Solitaire-puzzle" was added to most built-in solitaire games (old layouts are now called "Classic").
Solitaire has the following features:
- each solitaire-puzzle layout has a solution (classic solitaire layouts may not have a solution);
- each solitaire-puzzle layout has a number (you can always return to an unsolved layout by its number);
- since each solitaire-puzzle layout has a solution, there are no lost games, only unsolved ones. Therefore, its statistics differ from those of Classic layouts and are kept separately;
- redeals and rule customization are not available for solitaire-puzzle (these features are still available for Classic layouts);
- You can share your puzzle solutions with other players.
How do I switch to Classic mode?
There are three ways to switch to Classic mode:
- When selecting a solitaire game: after you tap on the solitaire game in the solitaire list, you will be taken to the game launch screen. On this screen, tap the "Mode... Puzzle Solitaire" line and select "Classic";
- If you have already launched Solitaire,
for the Android version, tap the "Game" button → Start a new game → select "Classic" → tap the "Start game" button;
for the iOS version, tap the "Game" button → Start in Classic mode; - In the victory message window, press the middle button (⁝) →
for the Android version, select "Start Puzzle Solitaire>" → select "Classic" → tap the "Start Game" button;
for the iOS version, select "Start in Classic mode";
Why aren't redeals and rule customization available for Solitaire-puzzle?
Every Puzzle Solitaire game has a solution. Redeals and rule customization can't guarantee a solution. That's why these features are disabled in Solitaire-puzzle mode.
How do I send my Solitaire-puzzle solution to a friend?
Launch Solitaire → press the "Game" button → Statistics → tap the "Solitaire Puzzle #..." line → enter the desired number.
After the game statistics for the desired number appear, press the middle button (⁝) → Share my solution.
You can also do this in the victory message.

Your purchase information is linked to your Google ID and stored on Google Play Store servers. This information is not stored within the app, but is downloaded from Google servers when the app starts.
If the app displays ads, it means the Google server has reported no purchases.
This happens if you've changed your Google ID on your device or used a different Google ID for the Google Play Store on a new device. It could also be due to a problem logging into the Google Play Store.
To resolve this issue, you need to check which Google ID is used in the Google Play app. I recommend finding your purchase information in the Google Play app purchase list (if there are authorization issues, the Google Play app will ask you to log in).
To verify your purchase in the Google Play app: start Google Play app → tap the profile icon in the upper right corner → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → find "Remove ads" item
Background music appeared during the game
The appearance of background music caused by advertising.
Advertising in the app is delivered by the companies Google and Facebook. The app shows tens of thousands of ads and I physically cannot control all of them. Therefore, I completely rely on Google and Facebook.
The advertisement is loaded in the background during the game. Any sound effects of an advertisement must be played only after the advertisement has begun. However, sometimes an advertisement created with errors appears that begins to reproduce sounds immediately after loading (unfortunately, the mute settings in advertising do not always work).
If you encounter this problem, you can turn off the background loading of advertising. For this, press "More" button → "Options" → "Advertising" → uncheck "Load ads in background" item. Since the advertisement is already loaded, you need to exit the app and run it again
If you play the game and see this ad, please take a screenshot of it and send it to me, I will ban this ad
You cannot close the ad (no cross button)
Advertising in the app is delivered by the companies Google and Facebook. The app shows tens of thousands of ads and I physically cannot control all of them. Therefore, I completely rely on Google and Facebook.
The ad close button may appear with a delay of 3-5 seconds. Please wait.
If the button does not appear within 5 seconds, please take a screenshot of it and send it to me, I will ban this advertisement.
Also try tapping the top right corner. Often in such advertising the button is not visible, but it works. But in any case, please send me a screenshot of it
How to transfer statistics to a new Android device?
If you need to transfer statistics, settings and your games from one Android device to another, then do the following
- install the app on a new device;
- run the app on your old device and start any solitaire game;
- click "More" button → "Options" → "Backup" → "Save statistics", and then "Transfer backup" and transfer the "backup.250bak" file to the new device in a way convenient for you;
- Save "backup.250bak" in "Downloads" folder of your new device. Then launch the file manager on the new phone (I recommend "Total Commander") → select the file "backup.250bak" → in the file menu select "Open with…" → select "250+ Solitaire Collection".
Is it possible to transfer statistics from the Android version of the app to the iOS version (or vice versa)?
In the current version of the app it is not possible
